Temperament in the books
Fast-tempered, dramatic, and dangerous to underestimate. Approach is part of the survival lesson.
Known bonded dragon
Cath — Dain Aetos; Sliseag — Sawyer Henrick
Common signet tendency
Force, metallurgy, heat, or a direct-action ability (unofficial tendency).
How to tell it from the other five
Red Swordtail is the blade-tail row: Cath is bonded to Dain Aetos, and Sliseag is bonded to Sawyer Henrick. It is distinct from Aotrom’s brown Swordtail because color and lineage reputation are separate from tail shape, and it is distinct from the clubtail because the tail is a sword rather than a blunt club. The force or heat language here is a fan-made tendency only; a Swordtail does not grant one fixed signet.
The sword is a clean visual shorthand for decisive action, not a canon signet chart.

- Gold Feathertail — compare its feather tail and Special / juvenile context line.
